What do you actually do?

I help people find great real estate agents - ones who are trustworthy, responsive, and a good fit for their personality and needs. I'm not the agent buying or selling the home with you, but I'm here as your behind-the-scenes support through the entire process. 

Are there any limitation to what you can do as a referral agent?

Yes, and I think it's really important to be upfront about that. I can connect you with a full-service real estate agent who's the right fit for your situation and support you if any concerns come up. I don't show homes, make listings, write offers or contracts or have access the MLS. That's what your chosen agent will handle. I stay in the background as a personal support system and connector for you. 

Do you charge clients for your agent matchmaking service?

Nope! You will not receive a bill from me. I earn a referral fee that's negotiated directly with the agent I referred to you, that you decide to work with. That fee comes out of the agent's commission after closing - not from you - and it doesn't increase the cost of the transaction. My role is to match you with someone who fits your needs, not to add extra layers or fees to your experience. 

Will working with you affect my agent's commission?

When I refer you to an agent, I make a separate agreement with them between them, myself and our brokerages (real estate companies). This does not change the comission you negotiate with your agent directly. That agreement is entirely between you and them. While the agent I refer may consider my referral fee as part of their overall business costs, it doesn't mean you'll be charged more because I'm involved. My role is all about support and connection, making your search for the right agent easier, more confident, and more intentional.

What if I start working with an agent and then things don't feel right?

Sometimes an agent who seems like a great match at first may not feel like the right fit later on - and that's okay. I encourage open communication between you and the agent, and I'm always happy to help facilitate that. If things still don't feel right, I'll work with you to explore other options. My goal is to support you through every stage of the process, so you never feel stuck or alone in it. 

What if I don't end up working with the agent you connect me with?

That's totally okay. If things don't work out with the agent I connect you with, I'd truly appreciate hearing your thoughts so I can better support you moving forward. Sometimes it takes more than one introduction to find the right fit, and I'm here to support you through that process if needed as well. I only receive a referral fee if you choose to work with an agent I've introduced and a successful transaction takes place with them - so from me, there's never any pressure or obligation on your end. Your comfort, trust, and long-term satisfaction come first. 

What if I already know an agent? Should I still reach out?

Definitely! If you know an agent but haven't committed to working with them yet, I can help you feel more confident in your decision. Whether it's asking the right questions, helping you compare options, or even sitting in on interviews - I'm here to support you.

If you've already signed an agreement with an agent, I won't interfere. I'll never encourage you to switch, but I can help you navigate any concerns you might have and offer support where it's needed (and where I can). 

Do you work with people in my area?

Are you in the United States? Then yes! I help clients all across the US and have access to a trusted network of agents through eXp Realty. I'm also continuously growing my own network to make sure I can connect people with professionals who truly align with their needs, no matter where they are. 

Why did you start doing this business?

I didn't start this business because I was drawn to traditional real estate - I started it because I genuinely enjoy helping people through meaningful life moments. Being a referral agent allows me to focus on building trusted relationships, offering guidance, and making sure people feel supported during what can be a very overwhelming process. I love being someone others feel comfortable turning to, and it means a lot to be a part of their journey - whether that's finding the right agent, offering clarity, or simply showing up as a quiet but consistent support system during the whole process. 

I also love that the way my business is set up through eXp gives me the freedom to build it authentically - sharing what I've learned, create a more open and helpful experience for others, and doing things in a way that truly reflects who I am.
